JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

At AGCS our Human Resources department has an in-depth understanding of the business, to deliver a best-in-class support and counsel service to our managers.
We are looking for a temporary support for 6 months starting in April or May 2021 to complement our global HR community and actively support our Senior and Global Executives. Based in Munich and as part of a team of experts for Senior Executive Affairs (SEA), you will be responsible for the delivery of HR topics to Senior and Global Executives of AGCS SE in Germany. In addition, you will be the first point of contact for the European Workers Council and consult our business to facilitate relevant consultation and negotiation processes. You will act as the key contact to the business, advice and support the managers in a challenging and fast changing business environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will…

Act as first line of contact for Senior and Global Executives of AGCS SE in Germany


Establish and maintain trusted relationships with the managers and consult them on employee relations topics


Provide support for the business regarding HR processes, e.g. rewards, performance, grading, talent, development, annual compensation/performance reviews


Represent the business to the HR community and collaborate on programs and initiatives by providing an organization-specific perspective


Perform all contract management related tasks correctly, in close cooperation with the Payroll team and Pension & Benefits, in time and in compliance with audit and legal requirements


Steer Supervisory Board approval process for Board Member contracts and compensation


Manage entry process for GIAM and other HR related tools for new joiners/movers/leavers in VIP-ASPP population


Consult local HR units of AGCS/ART-OEs on latest contractual Allianz Expire +-contents (also Risk Taker letters)


Champion change and continuous improvement by proactively engaging with business managers


Play an active role in implementing regional and global HR projects and initiatives


Collaborate with the wider HR team both locally and globally


Effectively maintain and administer all documentation and data for the relevant business area


Act as trusted contact person for the works council bodies


KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

You have a degree (ideally Master) in Business Administration, Law, Psychology or in a related field


You have at least 5 years of experience as a HR Business Partner or a comparable HR function, preferably in a global organization and the insurance area


You have the expertise in leading / managing organizational change, ideally in various business scenarios, including restructuring, integration and mature growth markets


Knowledge of German labor and employment law and appreciation of Works Council issues


You are able to handle negotiations and delicate situations with tact and diplomacy and the ability to steer discussions to a desired end


Preferably, you already gained experience with exposure to executive staff and global HR operational processes


You are able to build and maintain good relationships with customers and you’re highly service- and costumer-oriented


With excellent communication skills, you are proactive, diplomatic and able to build relationships with people at every level of the global organisation


Required languages: English and German fluent (able to negotiate)
