Job Summary
Reporting to the Supervisor, Information Technology Business Systems, the Senior IT Business Analyst is accountable for the planning, coordination, and execution of highly complex business systems analysis functions as well as all steps in the process of delivering integrated business and information solutions using Infor?s EAM and LN product suite. This position supports all divisions of Sherritt and Corefco in Fort Saskatchewan including Moa Nickel in Moa, Cuba, and I.C.C.I./N.P.M.M. in Nassau, Bahamas
+ Enhance Sherritt?s IT systems capability, primarily in Infor?s EAM product, to support production operations and business functions by initiating and applying sound business and technical principles.
+ Complete Infor EAM improvement projects on time, within budget, and to the user?s satisfaction while adhering to the company?s Information Technology standards.
+ Understand complex technical and business problems, have an understanding and the ability to then develop and implement solutions within Infor EAM flex and supported functionality to meet business needs.
+ Continuously review and assess the company?s information and management systems to ensure that business processes are optimized and potential cost savings and efficiencies are realized within Infor EAM.
+ Transfer personal expertise and experience to other staff members to ensure their development and strengthening of the department resources ? specifically relating to Infor EAM, ERP LN and the ION integration engine.
Qualifications and Skills
+ A university degree, technical school diploma, or equivalent experience and training in information technology or a directly related discipline is required.
+ 10 + years of experience, specifically within the planning and execution of IT solutions on Infor?s EAM, LN and ION framework.
+ Infor technical certifications are required, a desirable list includes:

+ Infor EAM functional consultant
+ Infor EAM technical consultant
+ Infor ION
+ Infor EAM reporting
+ Infor EAM on-boarding

+ Proven track record of implementing Infor EAM / ION / LN solutions.
+ Significant proficiency in developing industrial focused IT training materials.
+ Working knowledge of the mining and refining industry is considered an asset.
+ Most work will be accomplished in an office environment. However, project research, maintenance and installation work may result in exposure to the operating environment and/or extensive travel.
