(Senior) IT Project Manager

As a full time IT Project Manager (m/f/d) in the newly formed Digital Business Solutions department, you will join a team of passionate coworkers dedicated to make ESL the best esport tournament to meet the requirements of all stakeholders. Simply put, your job is to make ESL employees' life easier and more fun.

You will support existing projects as well as launching new ones wherever you see room for improvement.You are responsible for leading and implementing IT projects within the ESL group. You will lead research, evaluation and implementation of new solutions. From first concept to rolling out the final solution to the end user, it's all in your hands.

Your Future Tasks:

•  Support the Director of Digital Business Solutions with proven project management skills and hands-on programming experience
• Drive project timeline & progress, deadlines, resolve blockers
• Come up with new workflows and processes for departments and internal end users, based on verbalized needs or based on your own experience how to improve.
• Evaluate and onboard new software in regards to all business needs
• Create executive summaries for the decision making process
• Coordinate and facilitate all communication, including organising regular meetings.
• Verify and support the correct usage of the software and workflows you created
  

Your Profile

Must have's

• Analytical mindset, a problem-solving aptitude and most importantly a can-do-attitude, that gets people excited inside and outside of the department
• Proven track record  as an IT Project Manager, Change Manager, Solution Architect or similar role for at least 3 years
• You are a leading personality, you know how to inspire people to make a project successful
• An understanding of modern IT setups / best practices (e.g. Web Technologies, databases & RESTful APIs, Cloud Setups)
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to talk in front of an audience
  

Nice to have

… would be experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Experience in Software Development
• Experience in Change Management
• Team-lead experience
• Willingness to travel
• Keen gamer/esports fan. 
• Worked with Jira / Confluence
