KGS Deal Advisory: Deal Analytics - Working Capital Team
KGS Deal Advisory – Deal Analytics team is a cross-functional group and works on a wide variety of engagements in the public and private sectors. The work involves supporting clients in solving wider business and commercial problems.
Our work includes:
Working effectively with personnel from a variety of disciplines (Clients, KPMG advisory teams’ different geographies such as UK, US, India and Australia) to provide Data analytics driven advisory solutions to a wide variety of business challenges / problems
Application of analysis and modelling solutions to complex and diverse client problems / issues;
Development of Management Information processes and applications;
Work with large volumes of transactional data to analyse underlying performance trends and identify insights;
Combine data from multiple sources (SQL databases, MS Access, Excel files, flat files, etc.) into integrated views that can be used to drive analysis and decision making;
Build dashboards and applications in Tableau and Power Bi.
Partner with internal business customers to develop analyses that lead to actionable insights;
Review financial statements / management accounts to analyse business performance;
Benchmark financial KPIs against peer groups and quantify the improvement opportunity;
Ensure consistency of client models with project documentation and data books;
Prepare client presentations and reports.
2 to 4 years working experience of Data analytics, Financial Analysis, Business Modelling or Financial Modelling;
A good Understanding working knowledge of accounting, financial statements, and financial analysis;
Experience in Working Capital Optimization analysis(Account Payables & Receivables and Inventory Optimization)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Advanced knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, Power Bi, Excel and T-SQL
Knowledge of R/Python would be a plus but not mandatory.
A commercial outlook and a good understanding of the general business and economic environment; and
Excellent communication and presentation skills – both written and verbal and the ability to articulate key points clearly and succinctly in your analysis and reasoning.
