As a Senior Manager in our Tech Advisory team your impact will be seen by:
Developing leading edge technology strategies focused on adding value to users and making real, lasting change
Applying knowledge of technology trends, and their influence on industries, to identify strategic opportunities and challenges
Helping clients, in particular Defence and other Federal Government Agencies, take these strategies and transform their technology
Assessing the readiness of clients to undergo technology-driven transformation
Transforming business architectures and operating models in line with an overarching strategic agenda
Identifying, assessing and solving complex business problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Interacting with senior management at a client and/or within PwC on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
Managing large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within PwC.
Leading development of PwC’s service offerings across IT strategy, architecture and IT Operating Model design
Supporting the growth and development of junior team members through technical training, skills coaching and mentoring
You have a background in business and technology strategy consulting, and have experience in either ICT business cases or Tech Operating Model development and implementation. You also hold an understanding of technology architecture, and how to facilitate key leadership decisions on the pathway to holistic digital transformation.
Due to the nature of our work, you must be an Australian Citizen who has a Security Clearance or the ability to obtain this.
Your qualifications, skills & experience include:
Minimum 7 years experience
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree
Previous experience with a consulting / professional services organisation preferred
An ability to apply structured thinking and analysis techniques to complex and ambiguous problems
Highly developed written and verbal communication particularly when communicating on an engagement to a wide range of stakeholders from staff to CxO
Ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner
Passion for technology trends e.g. Cloud, Big Data Analytics, IoT, Artificial Intelligence
Awareness of key methodologies, approaches and market trends in the industry
Well developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues, and synthesize large amounts of information
Experience performing analysis and participating in projects encompassing the following disciplines
Digital Strategy development
Business Case development
IT Strategy and Architecture development
IT Operating model design and implementation
IT Operations, service management and process improvement
Strategy development (business and/or technology)
Technology Infrastructure analysis and architecture (including cloud)
