This job holder will responsible to support sharia strategic initiatives that further support company mission and vision within long-term plan. Ensure the day-to-day activities of the company support those initiatives. Support in driving the awareness and insightful analyses of the market and transaction trends as well as identifies and explores any adjacencies to the business to ascertain risks and opportunities.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Sharia Business Strategy Management

  • Support the strategic agenda and priorities for the business through the management of an annual planning cycle
  • Support the Identification and build consensus around business objectives and priorities
  • Support feasibility of the plan, and its consistency with management objectives
  • Support stakeholder’s alignment with stated management objectives

2. Sharia Ecosystem

  • Support in managing & reviewing the delivering the Sharia Ecosystem project

3. Sharia Spin off and Future strategy

  • Support in managing and developing Sharia spin-off plan and execution
  • Support to develop, implement and update new/existing framework/infrastructure necessary to facilitate the implementation and achievement of the strategic objectives of the new sharia company

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar Degree qualified (S1, S2), with strong commitment towards obtaining a relevant professional qualification i.e CPA, CFA, Fellow Actuarial
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience in strategic planning, Product management, business management, corporate leadership, and financial decision-making
  • Demonstrated proficiency in business development, analytical research, leadership, and strategic planning & project management
  • Has strong business acumen
  • Detail-orientated with strong financial analytics (including monitoring, analysis and reporting performance) and comfortable handling large volumes of data
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to multi-task and prioritise to deliver on time
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.  Use of statistical tools an advantage
  • Strong numerical, written, and verbal communication skills
