The EU Brand Messaging team designs and executes site messaging to drive traffic, engagement, GRS, and category awareness. This includes owning large scale promotions such as Black Friday, and also building a repository of site messages and promotional best practices that can be reused and repurposed in the future. We are setting the strategy and vision for site messaging and promotions, laddering back to brand priorities and strategy.

Our team is in charge of creating complex, cross-channel campaigns and manages them end to end – from the initial strategic briefing, to campaign execution and roll-out across Marketing channels, up to campaign reporting and in-depth evaluation. We want to continuously improve our approach to meet revenue and engagement targets, leveraging in-campaign tests, data analytics and competitor monitoring, exchanging with the rest of the team to ensure broad implementation of our actionable insights.

What You'll Do

  • Establish and lead the Brand Messaging EU team focused on setting messaging and promotion vision, executing that vision, and iterating quickly to align with shifting business priorities
  • Directly manage, develop, and grow a small team – in addition to leading cross-functional teams on a project basis
  • Set site messaging and promotion strategy and vision, laddering back to brand priorities and strategy. Course-correcting based on test learnings, top-down guidance, and performance
  • Lead the development and implementation of our promotional campaign strategy and drive multi-channel initiatives to meet revenue, engagement and profitability targets
  • Steer large-scale projects with senior leaders and Core teams, i.e. Design, Account Management, Pricing, Operations and Marketing teams to maximize campaign impact and ensure seamless execution
  • Take ownership over brand messaging performance, drive in-depth analyses, report on campaign impact to surface and implement actionable insights
  • Challenge the status quo, proactively identify roadblocks, propose solutions and drive initiatives to innovate and improve existing processes / tools / strategies
  • Develop testing roadmap that pushes channel direction toward vision (both for site messaging and for promotions)

What You'll Need

  • Extensive relevant professional experience, ideally with significant leadership experience, within the e-commerce industry, strategy consulting, marketing, sales and/or campaign management
  • Strong academic record in economics, math, statistics, business or related field
  • Appetite for fast-paced, international environment, bias for action and getting things done
  • Impressive organizational skills with track-record for successful cross-functional team work
  • Collaborative personality, excellent communication, both written and verbal
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills
