The general purpose is to be a financial consultant to the respective business partners to support digital transformation across all channels (Global Sales across all .com channels, Global Digital-Digital Brand Commerce (DBC)) by giving recommendations in order to enable and drive fact-based decision-making. This position supports digital strategy and business steering to achieve financial and acceleration growth ambition for Converting Brand Desire into profitable and sustainable business.
Financial support for the execution of digital strategy and growth ambition, including digital initiatives, capabilities, programs & foundation building
Conduct financial business performance tracking (full P&L) of digital across all channels and Markets consistently with growth/profitability ambition and target
Give transparency on digital business analysis/business model simulation for global ensuring relevant, accurate and standardized analytics
Support recommendations and provide options to business partners on respective level for strategic invest /divest to support digital sales accelerations with the relevant portfolio (business opportunities across channel & markets and related program / initiatives needed for execution)
Conduct deepdives to advise senior management about opportunities and risks in reaching commercial ambitions
Support the operationalization & follow-up financial impacts of strategic levers related to Digital transformation (growth opportunities, capabilities…)
Partner with the wider Digital Brand Commerce/Digital Partner Commerce (DPC) teams and support the team in their daily decision-making. Drive end-to-end communication and collaboration with all relevant Sales and Finance departments (countries, markets, regions).
Digital reporting including eCommerce, omni-channel initiatives and DPC – define KPIs, design of reporting and system implementation
Support implementation of an innovative on reporting/dashboards and KPI framework that support steering the business more holistically with all channel digital touch points across Global organization and across Markets (e.g. financial/non-financial KPIs, Sales key drivers, cost ratios, PPU, etc.); ensure that they are followed beyond own area of responsibility Global & Market)
Develop and use simulation tools that can be used to model business financial impact of different scenarios
Develop financial planning guidance for adidas’ Direct to Consumer (DTC) channel; aligning with Global Sales management and Market Finance. Validate that guidance is being followed by the markets and take action where guidance is not being followed.
Own and maintain eCommerce Finance policies and guidance; monitor adherence by markets and drive consistent Digital reporting across the globe.
Ensures digital Finance is compliant with all applicable Group policies, guidelines and relevant legal framework
Manage the validation and execution of ad-hoc requests
Global ecom & DPC team on all hierarchical levels
Regional eCom/DPC Sales and finance teams on all hierarchical levels
Corporate Solution finance (Corporate Planning & Reporting and Market Finance)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
eCom/digital business experience combined with excellent finance and analytical skills
High degree of customer orientation; both the ability to see the customer's point of view and opinions of his/her own
