As Senior Manager*, HR Business Intelligence (BI), you will be part of the HR department “People Analytics & Controlling”. The HR Business Intelligence Manager* is a new role and will have an opportunity to shape the future of Software AG’s business values.
As a member of our HR analysis team, you'll play a crucial role in identifying, improving and developing technology solutions that drive our strategic goals. As an ambitious HR BI expert*, you support our global HR function, create stories from the numbers and ensure that Software AG can make more intelligent, data-driven, strategic decisions (using big data and transfer them into smart data).
You report directly to our VP, Global HR Operations & Controlling
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Support the people analytics vision by implementing an HR analytics tool and dashboard with business impact for all Software AG departments.
- Develop and monitor a robust set of key performance indicators (development of an HR management dashboard)
- Improve and control HR data management, development and implementation of data reporting, analysis and visualization to identify trends and insights through benchmarks and other data tools
- Analyze data sources and data delivery streams and review existing systems like Workday, SAP and MIS and, if required, support the extension and/or migration to a new system to improve productivity and reporting
- Cooperate closely with other teams from HR, Controlling and business representatives to provide and further develop smart data analytics to meet business requirements
Qualifications/Experience – What we need from you:
- Successfully completed studies, ideally with focus on information management, business informatics, business administration or comparable qualifications
- Excellent degree qualification and academic record
- High IT affinity with a keen interest in using and improving business systems
- Previous work experience in either the technology or corporate finance sector
- Minimum work experience of four years or more
- Advanced IT skills, including high-level knowledge and experience in reporting, modeling, statistical analysis is an advantage; experience in working with and improving MIS/Infor BI Office Plus reporting functionalities or Microsoft Power BI or a similar BI tool is an additional plus
- Skilled in advanced Microsoft Excel functions and good knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret companies’ financial and headcount data
- Excellent project and time management
- Versatile and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple projects to a high quality
- Analytical and flexible, able to work independently
- Ability to present complex economic facts in a clear and understandable way
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal confidently with colleagues and departments in an international team
- Strong team player, able to form effective working relationships
- Very structured and proactive person
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills in English (and German is considered a plus)
