Who we are

FoundersLane, the leading Corporate Venture Builder in climate and health, was founded in 2016 by Felix Staeritz, Andreas von Oettingen, and Michael Stephanblome. The team develops digital business models in the health and climate sector by combining the agility and the mindset of technology entrepreneurs with the strength of corporations. Why we need you

We are looking for an experienced marketing manager capable of creating and implementing strategies for complex B2B products and services targeting audiences in enterprises and thought leaders.


Your responsibilities

  • Stakeholder management: In this role you will ensure a high degree of transparency on the progress of current and future actions and make sure goals are being reached. You will negotiate and agree on action plans, deliverables, and timelines. Also, you will influence other company members to work on our brand mission and vision. This also includes the empowerment of key decision-makers with in-depth business cases outlining expected impact, required investment and execution roadmap
  • Brand Positioning: You will work on further strengthening the FoundersLane brand and mission not only in the DACH region but also in our other target markets
  • FightBack: You will be responsible for working with our FightBack community founders to bring FightBack’s important mission to a wide audience
  • Leadership: You will lead a small team of motivated marketing professionals. In your role you will be working closely together with our CEO on developing a holistic long term marketing strategy but also making sure operational processes are working. You are willing to jump on every task that is needed


Requirements

  • You hold a degree in business, marketing, or communications 
  • You have at least 5+ years of experience in a similar field and role
  • Adaptability and resilience: You know how to deal with changing conditions, uncertainty, risks and are able to bounce quickly back up and learn from failure. You feel comfortable in demanding environments where quick problem solving and prioritization is needed. You develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategical mindset:  You are able to make plans and provide actionable feedback (including to non-marketing team members) 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: You do whatever is needed in order to reach your goals. You are able to make quick decisions and clearly prioritize what moves the needle
  • Analytical thinking: You are able to spot problems quickly and efficiently. You know how to address the stakeholders around you and are able to identify gaps to be filled e.g. what skills are missing in the team or the quality of content in relation to the audience’s expectations
  • Communication: Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills as well as the competence to liaise effectively with all kinds of stakeholders
  • A proven track record: You have a proven track record of setting and exceeding aggressive goals; evidence of the ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, experience and judgment
