The Role
The Specsavers Marketing Department is renowned for its collection of unique and catchy campaigns broadcasted across ANZ, with a reputation unparalleled in the market. We credit much of our prosperity in Australia and New Zealand to the innovative people who fuel this team. Due to the growth within the ANZ Marketing team, we are now looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join us in Port Melbourne. You will be a passionate Marketing professional who will be responsible for developing and implementing media strategies to deliver compelling consumer campaigns to  business objectives. 

As Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:
•    Working with the Head of Marketing Planning to deliver state and national level marketing initiatives
•    Acting as the main point of contact for day to day relationships with AU media agencies, and working with media agencies to drive effectiveness and efficiencies in media buying and performance
•    Working with the Head of AU Planning to develop media strategies, reviewing the performance of the media agencies against their contracts, and running media pitches as required
•    Analysing trends in the ANZ market performance and planning activities to capitalise on growth opportunities identified as a result
•    Collaborating with the Internal Communications Department to effectively communicate the go to market plan to partners and store teams
•    Working collaboratively with key teams internally to develop integrated campaigns
 

About You
Reporting to the Head of Marketing Planning AU, you will possess the following skills:
•    Strong retail marketing background, desirably with experience in communications planning 
•    Experience managing agency relationships, and experience running pitches for media agencies (ideally for search, social and digital pitches)
•    Managerial experience is advantageous but not a necessity
•    A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and build strategic working relationship with a diverse range of people
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
