Job Description

    The Senior Payroll Officer will report to the Payroll Manager and be responsibly for auditing and verifying all time keeping records of employees' hours worked as well as any deductions or withholdings required to comply with state and national law.

    The Job

    • Fortnightly Payroll Processing - Manual timesheet entry as well as uploading timesheets in a timely and efficient manor
    • New Starter Processing - Creating new employees in the payroll system
    • Termination calculations and processing
    • Email & phone enquiries - Leave queries, payslips queries, timesheet queries
    • Preparing reports
    • Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies
    • Assisting the payroll manager with monthly payroll tax and superannuation processing
    • Month end processing - Including the creating and processing of all payroll journals

    Great To have:

    • 5 Years Payroll Experience in similar role
    • 3 Years current Chris21 Experience
    • Excel reporting including pivot tables and vlookups
    • Impeccable attention to detail
    • Effective time management skills
