This role will collaborate with assigned teams, stakeholders and sponsors across multiple geographies within the global ResMed community. You will focus on supporting your teams while facilitating collaboration across all the teams who are involved in delivering on the broader program of work, escalating impediments, tracking risks and helping to drive continuous improvement. As a leader your role will include agile coaching and mentoring the team to meet and exceed commitments as well as managing stakeholder expectations.
As a Senior Program Manager, you will help establish measures to determine success of programs (e.g. objectives, scope, time, intended results) and will be expected to communicate and report on progress against plan. You must be a decisive, flexible and resourceful leader as well as an outstanding team builder. You must possess an unwavering commitment to quality, accountability and be a champion of continuous improvement. You will be an active participant in the Agile adoption, and coaching of leaders or teams in new processes and mindsets
Responsibilities:
Lead a portfolio of IT initiatives related to enable Technical Services processes (very large, complex projects, or programs, typically involving multiple vendors, multiple technologies, leading edge technologies, significant business risk, and/or broad implications for the IT architecture)
Accountable for IT delivery in front of business stakeholders (projects, operations / support)
Ensure IT support / operations processes are implemented, used and properly monitored
Serve as IT escalation contact Technical Services group
Manage and optimize the flow of work, facilitate the team planning sessions and other agile activities
Work with delivery management team, product owners and other stakeholders to ensure team alignment with commitments
Be accountable for escalating and ensuring resolution to program issues, dealing with resource constraints, and managing intra-team timing challenges and dependencies
Accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionally
Provide team status reports highlighting accomplishments, plans and issues across all assigned teams
Bring extensive experience and judgment to effectively plan and accomplish professional and team goals
Manage and communicate (internal and external) the implementation of significant changes to planning objectives, schedule, and product configuration
Formal presentation of program status. Establish and regularly review key team metrics including resourcing, and performance trends planning cadence
May manage projects using more traditional waterfall methodology
Provide coaching and mentoring to scrum team to help improve their skills
Act as scrum master in addition to your Program Management and Project Management duties
Work with or act as a product owner to elicit and prioritize work across multiple departments and stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience:

You will have solid business acumen and be able to easily manage the detail, as well as drive a “big picture” perspective. Bachelor's degree (BA) in Computer Science or related discipline
Master’s degree preferred
Combination of education and work experience will be considered
Very solid technology experience managing and delivering software solutions
Significant Business acumen, exposure to technical repair service process is a plus
Strong appetite for technology. Leverage technology opportunities to solve problem and/or improve process efficiency. Ability to “popularize” or “socialize” technology concepts in front of the business.
Experience managing programs in highly matrixed agile software development cultures while leading two (2) or more teams at a time
Strong background as an agile scrum master and coach with extensive experience in
building software solutions using current agile practices
Experience in all phases of project lifecycle, interfacing both with technical teams and
business users spanning multiple geographies
Experience in using project management methodology (processes, best practices, tools, and templates) effectively
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Outstanding time management and organization skills
Adept in problem solving and resolving conflict
Ability to understand technical vision and communicate it to both technical and non-technical parties
