Senior Program Manager – Cork
Reports to: VP, Division Operations and Manufacturing.
This role, Senior Program Manager, will work together with the Joint Replacement Operations Leadership team (JR LT) to progress the JR strategic plan and support the day to day management of the business. This role will report to the Vice President, Division Operations & Manufacturing and in effect will act as the ‘Chief of Staff’ partnering with the members and leaders of the JR LT (AO (New Product Introduction), Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing).
The Senior Program Manager will work with the JR LT to put together a comprehensive multiyear strategy and ensure that this strategy is aligned with the strategy of our partners in the JR Commercial/Selling Division. This role will then oversee the strategy and will ensure there is a robust governance model in place to progress our business.
The incumbent will play a key role in collaborating and developing strategic initiatives such as our network strategy and our cost reduction approach. The incumbent will strengthen the current Project Management Office (PMO) and partner with each site to leverage PMO and together they will drive the desired business outcomes.
Note: the Joint Replacement operation consists of 6 manufacturing sites (In Ireland, UK and the US), partnering with over 600 supplies supplying products that make healthcare better for our customers across the globe

Education, Skills & Knowledge required:
Technical based third-level qualification at Degree level
PMI Certification or equivalent essential and a MSc in Program Management is strongly preferred.
They will have demonstrated an ability to define and manage project risk.
Have experience in business management and in business transformation
A predisposition for coaching and mentoring and a genuine interest in helping others develop.
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit for driving business forward.
