Do you have a solid background as a R&D Project manager on a senior level?

Are you interested to drive real big projects in a complex environment?

NXP Semiconductors in Leuven, Belgium, is the headquarters of the product line Personal Health . This product line develops innovative products for the hearing industry (hearing instruments and cochlear implants), wireless personal audio (wireless earbuds and speakers, gaming headsets), medical imaging, and connected health solutions for therapy compliance and diagnostics (smart blisters, controlled temperature monitoring).

Our technology portfolio ranges from Radio Communication solutions like Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), our proprietary Near-Field Magnetic Induction (NFMI branded as Miglo to the open market) or NFC to specialized DSP, memories and sensors, all with a common point: an unrivalled ultra-low power consumption. Our products use some of the most advanced package technologies allowing our customers to miniaturize their products, use very cheap assembly processes or guarantee the quality and durability one expects in applications implanted inside the human body.

As the Senior Project Manager you will start, manage and finish product development projects, ensuring the deliverables are delivered in time, costs and quality level within agreed boundaries.

Our projects involve teams across the globe, expecting from you, as project manager, to manage the expectations, progress and deliverables from these remote teams. Most of our products are first of kind, and thus, very often, we operate on the edge of technology,  where issues pop-up and you need to find and implement an alternative way-forward with your team. Together with the product owner, you care for the time-to-market, involving agreements with the lead customers.

Typically, our projects run with at least 4-5 geographical spread teams, combining IC, SW, firmware and packaging development.
