Senior Project Manager - Consumer Products

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to drive the strategy, support the development and implementation of key new business initiatives across retail and consumer products. This is a 12 month fixed term contract role with strong potential to extend.
This position will work across Disney, Marvel, Lucas, National Geographic franchises, various categories (hardlines, softlines, consumables, publishing, digital), with local, regional and global teams.
Responsibilities :
Project Management
  • Identify and develop business case for new wholesale business opportunities
  • Responsible for ensuring the successful establishment and delivery of projects within the Consumer Products business, to time, scope, quality standards and budget, ensuring that actual progress meets planned progress.
  • Accurate scoping and forecasting of technological needs, resource planning and key milestones to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
  • Work effectively to coordinate and align a cross-functional local team including Commercial & Marketing, Product, 3P partners
  • Ensure ongoing and effective communication with all local and global team members to support project buy-in, and to ensure all team members are clear on assigned deliverables and their requirements, and enforcing accountability while proactively assisting to mitigate risks and clear blockages.
  • Produce clear and timely reports for senior stakeholders, and ensure effective communication of project status, issues and risks.
  • Build pipeline for short and long term business growth opportunities
  • Support the Senior Manager FBM across the broader strategic projects business including partner development, ideation and new business.

Partnership and Category Business Development
  • Gather insights to identify new monitisation or value capture opportunities
  • Proactively identify and create business case for new opportunities
  • Partner with product development & marketing t innovate
  • Manage onboarding of new partners and projects. i.e contract, system set up and other approvals
  • Manage transitioning of new projects and products to commercial team.
  • Lead and execute Market insights

Basic Qualifications :
  • 8+ years in a project management/brand management role
  • 3+ years in business development - driving growth strategies
  • Proven experience managing budgets and developing commercial strategies with proven results
  • Experienced at bringing campaigns or projects to market
  • Experience influencing and communicatin effectively with senior stakeholder
  • Highly driven and motivated to achieve targets and deadlines

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and product management skills
  • Ability to think pragmatically and operationally to drive execution of concepts
  • Outstanding multi-tasking and teamwork capabilities along with efficient project management skills
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills
  • Deep understanding of consumers and ability to develop key insights and use data to tell a story and drive decisions
  • P&L management
  • Drives results fast/executes with sense of urgency and accuracy
  • Enthusiastic collaborator and team player with a positive attitude
  • Knows how or where to obtain information; is resourceful
  • Strong attention to detail; organized and manages timelines effectively
  • Keynote, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency.
