Senior Project Manager(VIC/TAS)

About the role

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and manage projects in line with TSA project plan objectives and deliver outcomes
  • Ensuring all existing and planned developments and project are delivered with relevant approvals and align with TSA strategic objectives
  • Provide project leadership, oversight and end to end accountability managing all regional developments and projects from inception through to project completion and delivery
  • Support the strategic asset management team by providing commercial and risk analysis and financial guidance
  • Manage and report on key risk across the regional project portfolio
  • Procurement setup of preferred suppliers, vendors and contractors for specified regions.
  • Preparation and management of property project delivery budgets including tracking and reporting against financial and commercial outcomes.
  • Provide project delivery advice and guidance in line with TSA key project measures
  • Manage the preparation of all tender packages and construction contacts, including ongoing oversight of contractors and consultants to minimise delivery risk to TSA and ensure outcomes are achieved on time and budget
  • Partner with key stakeholders and senior managers for alignment and management of projects to ensure they are meeting TSA requirements at both a strategic and operational level
  • Establish strong relationships with key leaders and senior managers to create and drive continuous improvement to optimise the development of property assets.

About You

To be successful in this role you will be tertiary qualified in property (construction, engineering) or a related business discipline, a post graduate qualification in a relevant field is highly desirable.  You will have a minimum 10 years’ project management experience in both development and capital works projects, including residential, commercial, Institutional and mixed use projects ranging from $5M to $120M. Demonstrated previous experience developing and implementing property strategies to maximise use for financial and service user benefits.  You will have experience documenting residential market supply, demand and competitor analysis including recommendations. You will have previous experience briefing and managing external marketing and sales teams to achieve desired financial results. Proven track record in developing and delivering commercial and financial deliverables on time and on budget and demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and town planning approvals is essential.  Knowledge or experience within the Not-For-Profit sector would be extremely beneficial.
