The Job

• Create test strategy, test plans and execute testing activities • Gather functional and non-functional requirements (such as system capacity projections, including API traffic volumes, servers, network, storage capacities, page response times, etc., to inform test planning) • Develop effective, reusable and maintainable automated functional test framework • Work within Agile processes and contribute to release readiness reporting based on the outcome of performance testing activities • Participate in root cause analysis and complex system investigations • Work in close collaboration with software developers and other test engineers to produce high quality product. • Ensure that automation scripts function well across all cross browsers and platforms. • Perform manual testing of test cases as and when it is needed.

The Candidate

The Skills We’re Looking For • In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices. • Hands-on experience with test management tools (such as Test Rail or TestLink) and defect management tools (such as JIRA or Bugzilla). • Strong knowledge of a development languages such as Java, Python or Javascript. • Experience with open source test automation tools like Selenium, Protractor, Appium, PhantomJS… • Experience with performance/load testing tools such as Gatling, JMeter, BlazeMeter, LoadRunner. • Experience in functional testing of RESTful API. • Strong understanding of the software development including Git, SQL, etc. • Good English communication skills • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously. • Must be proactive, flexible and self-motivated Preferable Skills • ISTQB Certifications • Working knowledge of automated testing for mobile devices
