Mid/Senior Ruby Developer

This role is full-time with flexible hours and up to 98% remote(within Sydney Area).

Requirements

Skills:

• 3+ years of commercial experience in Ruby on Rails in more than 2 projects
• Ability to write Ruby code
• Rspec/Minitest is a must
• SQL. Familiarity with PostgreSQL at Mid level
• Javascript/CSS/HTML at Mid level
• Understanding of HighLoad and why RoR can push you under the bus
• Github is a must. We don't evaluate based on it but it's a starting point.

Additional Brownie Points If:

• You know Vuejs and Rxjs
• Don't care about technology and can adopt anything if it bleeds

Responsibilities Include:

• Design-build and maintain good quality Ruby code
• Write tests
• Code Review
• Maintenance. Maintenance
• Solve problems, introduce new ones
