The Cloud Sales Manager will have principal responsibility to drive VMware's Cloud Management and Cloud Health business within the country sales organization as a Specialist leader and managing the Specialist Sales Team
With this growth, we seek a talented and motivated Manager who;
Attracts, builds and leads a field specialist sales team of 4 to 6 people.
Can build a complex territory strategy to ensure success for both short and long-term goals, objectives and quotas for the regional sales teams
Can execute the territory strategy through the specialist team, direct selling team and indirectly through a multitude of Channel Partners and local Demand Generation
Splits time 50/50 between leading your teams and meeting with customers & partners
Closely work with extended sales resources, including, but not limited to Core Sales Managers, SE Managers, PSO Manager, Inside Sales Manager, Channel Manager, Recruiting, etc.
Partners with the Core sales team and their leadership in efforts to plan & execute cohesive sales campaigns into the Regions
Has accurate forecasting, planning.
Has experience structuring and negotiating large enterprise deals, and orchestrating a broad mix of resources, in order to execute a successful 90-day sales campaign.
15 to 20 years of sales experience in a dynamic, highly competitive, hyper growth enterprise sales environment.
Mandatory people management experience sales or technical leading successful teams
Experience in country wide Sales exposure is key to work across different regional structures
Proven success in quota achievement and over achievement in matrixed organization, with experience building and maintaining an engaged culture of high performers.
Strong executive business communication skills across a multitude of business leaders and stakeholders within large, complex organizations.
Extensive experience negotiating multi-million-dollar deals with complex terms, conditions, price pressures and considerations.
Demonstrate creative and critical thinking.
Balance of perpetual and subscription selling skills
Experience is working with Large SISOs and partners
Strong mentoring experience
Consistent record of achieving business objectives in a hyper growth environment.
Engineering degree or higher.
Extra-Curricular awards or community involvement

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
