Job Responsibilities

General responsibilities:
  • Manage departmental operating budgets and costs according annual allocation ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable
  • Develop and implement short and long-term technical sales strategies and plans achieve sales target for assigned business/terri ry
  • Cascade and moni r the achievement of key performance indica rs. Evaluate team performance gaps and requirements for improvement
  • Lead and moni r progress of sales activities for assigned businesses/terri ries. Identify and implement cus mized solutions based on changing markets and trends
  • Negotiate pricing, discounts and contract terms facilitate sales agreements and achieve targeted margins
  • Evaluate product gap analyses and product improvement proposals. Recommend new/enhanced product solutions
  • Review sales reports and analysis. Evaluate sales trends/forecasts and form meaningful conclusions facilitate strategic decisions
  • Develop, moni r and recommend continuous improvement on sales processes, sales plans, cus mer satisfaction, etc., improve sales targets
  • Manage complex cus mer issues and recommend preventive actions minimize future incidents
  • Develop and build relationships with cus mers achieve business objectives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders better understand client requirements and leverage cross-product/industry business opportunities

Leadership responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee team’s delivery of team/function goals drive execution against goals set 
  • Drive and manage learning and development of team in the area of Technical Product Sales and DKSH behavior achieve team/function goals

Job Requirements

Functional skills and knowledge:
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competi rs/cus mers
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge and a proven sales track record in assigned products/services/systems and an existing network of contacts
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of regula ry requirements of products within assigned terri ries, including handling procedures, shelf life, s rage, etc. 
  • Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity ols (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken

Education:
Degree or professional qualification in Science or Engineering-related discipline
Work experience:
Minimum five years experience in a similar role
