FactSet is looking to fill the role of Senior Sales Representative – New Business Benelux/France/South Europe to continue its growth within the EMEA – Strategic Partnerships & Alliances group.

We are looking for a New business Sales person who is ready for a new challenge and looking to have a greater impact at FactSet and within Strategic Partnerships & Alliances group. The addressable market opportunity continues to expand in line with our growth in proprietary and Open:FactSet data feeds, Workstations, Analytics and Digital solutions offerings.

We are looking for passionate and driven sales professional to augment our current efforts within Benelux, France & South Europe where many new business opportunities exist. This position will have the full access and support from the existing consulting staff within the EMEA region.
 

The objective for this role will be to generate revenues through new business development. A small book of existing business with growth potential may also be provided to further develop.

Key business segments and sales channels are Fintech, Applications and Data providers, Exchanges, Index providers, Analytics providers, Media…

The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying high growth prospects within each segment and execute on a strategy to deliver revenues and nurture long-term partnerships.

This role is the opportunity to sell FactSet contents, applications, analytics and solutions into the exciting Fintech world made of strategic large partners, fast growing companies and innovative start-ups in artificial and business intelligence.

Thinking independently, enthusiasm, dynamism, creativity and flexibility are key for this role. Ability to maintain relationship at C-Levels with founders, business developers, product managers, technologists and data scientists is a must. Strong adherence to sales practices and pipeline management are necessary to achieve goals.

Compensation for the Senior Sales Representative role will be commensurate with experience and ability to achieve significant results.


Responsibilities:

  • Ultimate responsibility to hit a target with New business generation
  • Determine which market segments have the most potential based upon our current and upcoming offerings
  • Identify and qualify prospects and high growth accounts within each segment
  • Lead generation: use established internal support and develop other creative ways to generate leads via social and professional networks
  • Demonstrate a comfort and proficiency with cold calling and engaging with prospects
  • Ability to coordinate projects with team members & specialist teams

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years client facing experience
  • Proven track record in a business development / sales position
  • Proven ability to develop leads & opportunities
  • Understanding of Benelux and French market
  • Awareness of FactSet competitive landscape
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the assigned sales territory
  • Language Skills:
    - English – Required
      - Dutch and/or French - Desired
      - Spanish and/or Italian - A plus
