We are seeking:

• A candidate with 5-10 years of software development expertise; but if you think you can step up to the challenge you should apply!
• Solid Python and/or Java development & architecture background
• Someone with a deep understanding of cloud-native technologies, building, deploying and operating applications on public & private cloud
• A candidate that is not afraid to learn and work with bleeding-edge technology that is sometimes not fully mature
• Hands-on micro-services architecture & DevOps experience (Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD)
• Someone who can drive software architecture and engineering best practices across multiple teams (CI, CD, Code review, Code quality standards)
• Someone enthusiastic who can quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, with a strong aptitude for innovation
• Someone who can slice and dice a business/system problem into an easy modular and maintainable solution with your team
• A team player who can define, establish and communicate their long term vision, who is adaptable to uncertain and changing needs
• A candidate with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills (A good sense of humour is a bonus!)

If you have one of these, it’s even better:

• You are also passionate about networking. You have experience with networking software, protocols or models (e.g. ONAP, Openstack, YANG, TOSCA, HEAT, Netconf, SNMP, CLI, gRPC)
• You have experience contributing to open source projects
• You have experience with the major public cloud players, and their cloud-orchestration platforms
• University degree in software/computer engineering/IT
• French/English bilingual
• You also have a Java development/architecture background (Java, SpringBoot)
• You have experience with technologies core to ONAP (e.g. Kafka, Drools, Redis, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, HBase, Cassandra)
