Our current platform, COSMIC (a k8s based computing hosting platform), is being adopted by teams ranging from large mature services such as the Teams/Skype backend services (IC3), to the various small incubation services, all looking for our help to deliver awesome experiences in a trusted manner to their customers with both engineering agility and minimized COGs. Across the industry, cloud services have evolved from monoliths with standard compute-storage requirements, to small and agile services consuming unique combinations of targeted resources. The COSMIC team is chartered with taking this technology, and building a scalable, agile and trusted container-based hosting platform.
Through the breadth of our work, you will have opportunities to work with a broad spectrum of container-based hosting platform along with the integration of industry leading technologies (like Kubernetes) in the space of application/service hosting platform for large scale service.
In this position, you will build the tools, technologies, and services that enable engineering for Office365. You will be responsible for building large-scale services as well as ensuring that the day-to-day experience of engineers are both efficient and empowering.
