Salesforce Commerce Cloud is seeking a (Senior) Member of Technical Staff to join our Cloud Operation Applications team. You will be part of a team that is responsible for building and operating the next generation of services for our industry-leading eCommerce platform. Together we build and support Identity and Access Management services for Salesforce Commerce Cloud using protocols such as SAML2, OAuth2 or OpenID Connect, and running on public cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on full life cycle software components for our mission-critical, enterprise SaaS web applications
  • Support our commitment to continuous integration, unit tests, and functional automation
  • Work with the team in definition of sub-component requirements and accurately forecast project effort
  • Provide attention to detail and a commitment to the delivery of high-quality, stable features
  • Work seamlessly as part of a multi-cultural, development and testing team
  • Be self-motivated; driven to achieve and exceed committed milestones
  • Display strong collaboration skills, including the ability to mentor and be mentored
  • Desire to work in a growing, fast-paced environment of innovation

Required Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of web application development in Java
  • Prior experience developing APIs or REST services
  • Experience with public cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with CI/CD tools chains
  • Working knowledge with Linux systems
  • Working knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Scrum in an Agile Development environment
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions and AuthN/AuthZ protocols is a plus

Education & Experience

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • BS or MS degree in Computer science or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of professional Java development experience
