Senior Software Engineer

We facilitate over 70 million patient consults each year by providing software solutions for GPs, Specialists, Pharmacists and Hospitals.

In this role, you will be:

• Delivering world class software that delights our customers and exceeds the expectations of our business
• Providing guidance to a squad of developers
• Sizing, estimations, management and delivery of product backlogs
• Supporting and promoting an Agile development environment
• Contributing to the technical design and architecture of the software/platforms
• Driving code quality by conducting code reviews, unit testing and other automated tests
• Contributing to developmental technology experimentation, selection and implementation
• Engaging across the business to create and refine our software applications and platforms
• Mentoring and coaching more junior developers

Requirements

• 5+ years engineering/development experience - full stack development (Java, C#, SQL, XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• 1+ years experience mentoring/guiding junior developers
• Front end JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React), CSS and Less/Sass (experience desirable)
• Understanding of scaled agile and DevOps development environments
• Experience working with modern, web based architectures
• Cloud infrastructure experience an advantage
• Organisational and communication skills with experience encouraging a culture of collaboration
