The overall purpose of the role is to understand the transformation strategy and deliver the controls assurance transformation plan to drive organisations value optimization, efficiency and effectiveness with tangible business impact.
Deep understanding of controls and SOX requirement with the ability to think outside the box to provide innovative solutions in terms of delivering the training to enhance the controls and compliance knowledge which are sustainable with positive business impact. Ability to work with teams across functions and locations and having a “make change happen” personality effective at breaking down barriers and silos and driving action through passion, clear and effective communication and demonstrated knowledge.
Design and implement a comprehensive training program for both the business and also the internal controls assurance teams to ensure that controls is given the right focus by the business to ensure a strong control environment
Collaboration with cross functional teams across the business to develop and deliver the training program as part of the overall business transformation initiatives
Connect with external peers to proactively identify new areas where we need to enhance the capability to ensure that controls assurance teams are updated on all the new regulatory pronouncements necessary to deliver assurance work
Work closely with the My Learning Hub team to ensure that training programs are delivered on a sustainable manner across the business
Developing effective governance frameworks on training; managing weekly/monthly Governance forums
Monitoring, reporting, and effective communication of training progress against plan to delivery teams, sponsors, stakeholders, PMO and other governance bodies.
Collect feedback from the teams identifying opportunities for improvement and embrace them to further enhance the program
Perform Risk Assessment and validate the design and operating effectiveness of control
Evaluate opportunities for control simplification and rationalization
Identify opportunities for automation of controls
Self-driven and can motivate other towards project goal
Fluent in MS Office.

Area of Expertise
Proven experience of working on a range of large/complex transformation and "business as usual" projects and programmes focussing on training and capability development
Experience in large international organization with process & controls specialization. Background in audit would be beneficial
Strong understanding of controls with a flair to deep dive into the processes to identify root cause of issues and support the business in designing a sustainable solution with a transformation mindset
Experience in delivering learning and development program for controls assurance
Strong, positive track-record of innovation and collaboration

Proven ability to successfully manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders

The controls assurance transformation senior specialist will support the transformation head in delivering the training plan to the business and the internal controls assurance team to achieve the objective to upskill the business on controls which will ensure an overall strong control environment.
