We’re looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our engineering team based in Perth on a 12-month fixed term contract with a possible extension to support recent business growth. Current projects include copper, gold and nickel plant design, construction and optimisation.
This role would suit someone with strong experience in engineering consulting and EPC/EPCM projects in the mining sector.
2021 looks like it will be a very busy and exciting year for Ausenco. As a result, we have this exciting opportunity.
About the role
Degree qualification in Structural Engineering.Chartered Status (CPENG, NPER, RPEQ etc) will be highly valued.
Proven experience in Structural design engineering experience in a relevant industry, e.g. mining, mineral processing, materials handling, and heavy industrial.
Knowledge of Microstran and Strand7 is well regarded.
Committed to developing efficient and economical designs.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently without close supervision.
Well-developed communication skills both written and oral.
Proven ability to manage, motivate and influence employees at all levels.
Commitment to mentoring and coaching of personnel.
The ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
