Senior Test Engineer (Automation)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation test strategy and associated plans with risks

• Design, implementation, maintenance and improvement of automation test scripts and automation framework

• Understand, apply and optimize appropriate test mechanisms (functional, regression.smoke.) and tools to improve the verification efficiency through automation

• API Testing

• Prioritize and manage workload in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines

• Providing feedback on release readiness

• Participation in requirement analysis and walkthrough

Skills Required

• 5-8 years of industrial experience in software testing

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in automation testing

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies

• Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies

• Good knowledge of automated testing tools like Selenium and testNG

• Experience of working in programing languages like Java

• Good knowledge of API testing tools like (Soap, Postman, JMeter)

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Hands on experience of JIRA & Zephyr
