The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will be primarily responsible for maximizing the volume of inbound organic traffic from search engines, keeping close tabs on Fluke’s online presence by tracking + reporting changes in traffic, rankings, trends, and conversions. You’ll do the research required to derive strategic insights as well as tracking and measuring results. You will work on putting together comprehensive SEO strategies, defining the tactics used to achieve business goals, and presenting your findings.
Screaming Frog is your best friend and it’s likely that you’ve been known to talk about hreflang. You’re not a developer, but you can make your way through HTML and are able to communicate technical site recommendations and implementation requirements at all levels of understanding.
You have a passion for Digital Marketing, but you view business and marketing from a holistic perspective. When it comes to SEO trends, you pride yourself on being ahead of the curve. You love reading up on industry blogs and sharing your insights with others (team members, business colleagues, senior management, etc.). You’re skilled at providing both strategic recommendations and tactical execution.
You possess the attention to detail to conduct in-depth technical site audits and uncover the subtlest of site issues and you have the flexibility to handle disruption or push back with confidence. You will work on multiple projects, advising colleagues on architecture best practices and help to troubleshoot technical issues, as well as tie outcomes to campaign goals and measure impact. On the side, you’ve been known to write, update or edit digital content for positive SEO results.

The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will report into the Senior Manager, SEO & Web Conversion (located in the US) but will be an integral part of a cross-functional, agile marketing team in EMEA.
Manage Search Engine Optimization:
+ Experience building and driving a global SEO strategy for enterprise-level sites including eCommerce across multiple industries
+ Day-to-day execution of organic search engine marketing campaigns including, but not limited to keyword research, competitive research, content creation and optimization, back-linking, tagging and editorial calendar creation
+ Plan and execute of on-and off -page SEO tactics in collaboration with product teams, web development team and digital marketing
+ Track search share and search position.
+ Proactively diagnose and resolve technical issues on sites with thousands of pages
+ Research technical issues and make actionable and well-informed recommendations based on your findings
+ Drive and report on technical SEO audits on sites of all sizes
+ Analyze, report and identify trends in the data, never losing sight of ROI
+ Regularly communicate and report out to all levels of the business, including senior management
+ Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
+ Enterprise-level SEO tools (i.e. Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, SEMRush, Ahrefs, STAT, SearchMetrics)
+ Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, look-up function and conditional functions)
+ Google Analytics and PowerBI
+ Server log analysis experience (Splunk, SF Log File Analyser)
+ CMS familiarity (Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla!, Sitecore, Shopify, Adobe Experience Manager)
+ A college degree in business, marketing, communication or related field
+ 5+ years of SEO experience within a mid-to-large size company responsible for setting and executing (digital) marketing strategies.
+ A combination of B2B (lead generation) and B2C (eCommerce) digital marketing experience, preferred.
+ Demonstrated experience driving traffic and results using SEO best practices and techniques
+ Experience with A/B and/or multivariate testing to drive increase in ROI
+ Technical SEO expertise (Canonicalization, Sitemaps, Crawl Budget etc.)
+ Ability to effectively interact and influence at senior leader/executive levels
+ A collaborative mindset and approach to the many projects that require team members from different organizations within Marketing, other departments, and broader Fluke organizations to be successful.
+ Ability to lead through influence required
+ The successful candidate will be results oriented and possess a demonstrated ability to set strategies and successfully execute to meet business goals.
+ Experience working in an agile/scrum environment preferred
