The Group IT within Intersnack is responsible for coverage of IT business needs across all Management Units. The Group IT is based in Intersnack Head Office Düsseldorf and incorporates and manages several external IT providers to assure the best service to the end-users Group-wide. For this reason, Intersnack Group IT started an IT-harmonization project called “InGrIT” which will connect and harmonise the whole Cloud-based IT application landscape for all Management Units. The overall objective is to deliver easy and user-friendly IT services to ensure operational continuity and efficiency in the core business of snack production.


Purpose of Role

The Service Integration and Management Expert will deliver the service model for Intersnack Group IT, oversee compliance, and ensure continuous service improvements. Besides, you are responsible for managing the external service desk and the organisation of services for all BAU applications. Define and drive the long-term strategy of their services and own improvement roadmaps. You will report to the Head of Operations and based in our Düsseldorf office.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate, monitor, steer and continuously improve the services/service delivery according to service lifecycle management.
  • Responsible for the actual / target requirements concerning the contracted services. 
  • Partner with technical and/or delivery experts within the respective service providers to ensure that the services are appropriately delivered.
  • Undertake to ensure the stable and efficient operation of the core services, including availability, capacity, service usage and provisioning responsibility.
  • Ensure that training requirements are defined and executed.
  • Coordinating external suppliers & hosting services (such as Getronics/Columbus). 
  • Definition of KPIs & SLAs as well as active monitoring. 
  • Provide appropriate level of reporting on core services.


Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in one or several of the following areas: IT Service Design, IT Supplier Management, IT Service Integration Governance or Service Delivery Management.
  • International experience of at least 5 years working with various stakeholders for relevant ITIL processes, Service Integration and Vendor Management.
  • Solid understanding in establishing Continual Service Improvement (CSI) processes in conjunction with outsourced service providers.
  • Technical expertise in the cloud, big data, data integration or data centre, as well as an ITIL foundation in service management, is desired.
  • Extensive professional experience in working within international/global service desks and/or outsourced infrastructure service management.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Good command of spoken and written the English language is a must, and German is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
