Job Summary: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and user stories.
Execute functional, regression, and integration tests on ServiceNow applications to verify system functionality and performance.
Identify defects and issues through systematic testing and collaborate with developers to resolve them.
Utilize test automation tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
Create and maintain test data sets and environments for testing purposes.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate test scenarios.
Document test results, defects, and testing outcomes in a clear and concise manner.
Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, to ensure testing activities are aligned with project timelines.
Provide input on quality assurance processes and best practices to enhance testing effectiveness.
Continuously improve testing methodologies and techniques to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
Required Skills/Experience:
Experience as a business analyst in ServiceNow projects, with a focus on testing.
Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
Ability to perform functional, regression, and integration testing on ServiceNow applications.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of ServiceNow testing capabilities and best practices.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with development teams.
Minimum of five years of experience in software testing or a related field.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
ServiceNow certified system administrator (CSA) certification preferred.
ISTQB or similar software testing certification preferred.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
