We currently have an opening for a Service Delivery Manager to work on complex projects that are delivering solutions which will be used by millions of people every day. In this role, you can expect to work closely with External Stakeholders, Support Staff and Domain Representatives, and use the latest industry standards and techniques to build robust, secure and innovative client solutions.

Your job duties will be:

  • Deliver to agreed outcomes and be responsible for service delivery including change requests and client stakeholder management
  • Manage Oakton assigned resources (onsite, offsite and offshore consultants) in line with service contract
  • Responsible for commercial management in accordance with the service contract
  • Exceed Service Levels in accordance with defined SLA’s and client expectations, whilst ensuring quality and profitable services are maintained
  • Effectively monitor, control and support service delivery, ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are followed
  • Building strong client relationships in order to grow Oakton’s Managed Services engagement
  • Work with bid teams on development of new opportunities
  • Provide service reporting to an agreed schedule (or on request), including management and account performance reports)

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Solid bespoke or business applications (i.e. Microsoft, OpenSource or IBM) and service integration experience
  • ITIL Service Management experience
  • Project management or coordination experience
  • Relevant qualifications and 3 years + IT experience
  • Strong team management / leadership experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with Management, Resources, Project Managers and most importantly, the Client
  • Ability to develop an in-depth understanding of the client’s requirements and domain
  • Problem identification and process management skills
