PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Partner Service Delivery (PSD) is a global organisation and part of the “Global Channels & General Business” group that manages SAP’s Partner Ecosystem, including Channel Resellers (VAR’s), Service partners (SI’s), ISV’s and OEM partners.
With teams across 5 regional centres, PSD builds and delivers a range of business performance services for SAP partners. With 8,000 partners in the SAP PartnerEdge program, each one benefitting from a personal contact (Partner Service Advisor – PSA) in PSD to coordinate a wide range of services to increase their business performance.
For our regional service centre (located in Chengdu, China) that supports the Asia-Pacific-Japan (APJ) and the Greater China (GCN) region, we are seeking a new Team-Manager.
This role will report to the Regional Head of PSD for APJ & GCN regions.
The PSD Manager will lead the team of approx. 20 Partner Services Advisor’s (PSA), which key objective is to increase SAP’s Partners capabilities, business performance, program compliance and the adoption of SAP’s cloud solutions.
To achieve this, a wide range of business services and programs need to be managed end-to-end, from program initiation to successful execution and results.
The PSD Manager will collaborate extensively with PSD global resources, SAP regional teams as well as stakeholders in the countries (i.e. SAP Market-Units).
The key responsibilities of the PSD Manager are:
• Performance management and execution of desired business results
• People management & -development
• Drive Change Management for new business areas within the team
• Engage in the definition and set-up of new programs and define the execution roadmap within the team
• Reporting & analysis of progress / business impact – internal and external

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
• People Management & coaching, team development, daily HR tasks
• Performance Management, deliver and execute against a set of KPI’s to drive the desired business outcomes
• Manage a wide range of service portfolio from service validation up to final execution and delivery to partners
• Business Development: collaborate with regional SAP/General Business owners to expand and adopt services in support of their business goals
• Drive process simplification to increase operational efficiencies and optimize capacities
• Regular and ad-hoc reporting, using data to analyse the delivery status of the service portfolio, define priorities and actions but also to demonstrate the business impact to SAP internal teams.
• Act as business owner and point of contact for internal stakeholders and PSD global roles
• Engage in PSD global projects
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Business Management / IT Degree or equivalent – MBA an advantage
• Previous working experience in a large corporation with, matrix organization and working with virtual teams
• B2B or B2C experience a clear advantage
• Demonstrable strong interpersonal and team-working abilities and coaching skills
• Excellent English communication skills required: orally and written
• Ability to drive Change Management
• Multi-tasking capabilities are required, such as project management or similar background
• Strong analytical competencies and a capacity to communicate and present at
