Our technology consists of advanced wearable devices, a cloud platform and machine learning systems. These systems are at the core of our at-home video-EEG-ECG monitoring and diagnostic service - the first of its kind. Seer has already made a big impact across the east coast of Australia over the last three years and is now building for international expansion.

General Description of the position

Seer’s products encompasses advanced electronics, power, mechanical and materials properties and meets strict medical certification standards including CE and TGA.

The Equipment Service Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the maintenance and repair requirements of Seer’s hardware products. This includes design and implementation of preventative maintenance schedules, equipment repair work, and the strategic growth of equipment service requirements of Seer’s products globally.

The Service Engineer is required to interact with the Product Design, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance teams, to determine appropriate service and repair requirements for each asset type.

Position Responsibilities

• Servicing Life Cycle
  • Specify servicing requirements for all of Seer’s asset / equipment types, including the development of comprehensive service manuals
  • Design and implement national and global programs where Seer’s equipment is rotated through a defined workflow to meet each assets preventative maintenance servicing requirements.
• Equipment Repair
  • Develop a comprehensive triage process for each asset type, documenting equipment fault finding and corresponding repair action.
  • Develop comprehensive repair manuals to instruct repair processes for all equipment types
• Continuous improvement
  • Formal feedback of design, assembly, and in-market use changes to the respective teams at Seer to improve equipment performance and longevity
• Operations
  • Ensure equipment repair work is conducted in a timely manner meeting key performance indicators of each equipment typo
  • Report on performance of the service group
  • Report on product performance over time across design, assembly, component failure, and damage

Things you can do

• Highly proficient with soldering cables, PCBs and mechanical assembly with a wide variety of materials and assembly tools and methods

• Highly proficient in technical documentation and technical drawings

• A deep and intuitive understanding of product assembly processes and service and viability over time
• Able to engage a wide range of staff across all aspects of Seer’s product stack
