AE Smith NZ (Part of the Downer/Spotless group of Company’s) continues to expand our Service foot print within the Auckland region our current portfolio includes the following significant long-term service contracts –

• Commercial Bay - 40 story office tower and retail development
• Park Hyatt Hotel – Wynand Quarter
• Waiparuru Hall 785 Bed Student Accommodation Building for the University of Auckland
• Wiri Woman’s Correctional Facility
• Mt Eden Correctional Facility
• Glenbrook Steel Mill

As part of our ongoing business growth and success, we have multiple opportunities for experienced HVAC Senior Technicians to join our team.

A bit about your role:

This role will see you involved with the delivery of service, including proactive, reactive work and upgrades.  You will also be involved with assisting in the generation of specifications, engineering, designing, scoping, costing and quoting of solutions as required.  You will be focused on forming positive relationships with our clients, whilst maintaining a health and safety focus.

A bit about you;

You will be a trade qualified HVAC & R engineer with commercial/industrial HVAC & R maintenance, diagnostics, repair and installation experience and will bring with you:

• HVAC & Refrigeration level 4 (Trade Certificate)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the industry as a senior engineer or supervisory type position
• Sound chilled water plant acumen
• Proficient in document control and administration responsibilities
• Electrical Service Technician License
• Refrigerant Handlers License
• Current Class 1 Drivers Licence
• A strong commitment to safety
• A positive, proactive approach and a willingness to learn
• A strong work ethic with excellent time management skills
• Ability to work both within a team and independently.
