Candidate should be B.E. with specialisation in Tooling, designing and Metallurgy with 10 years in design and manufacture of tools.

Responsibility:

• Manufacture and improve different type of tools enabling process within the manufacturing sites. This includes jigs, fixtures, moulds to handle consistently robust production tools.
• Support production and engineering.
• Maintain timelines and coordinate on the OTE (Overall tool effectiveness).
• Recommend need based new equipment procurement.
• To maximise use of IT and data based tool drawing procedures and use appropriate practices for repair and maintenance of tool (tool history development etc. etc.

• Manufacture tools to design technical drawings while keeping cost
• effectiveness in mind.
• Knowledge on softwares leading to latest tool design such as CAD, CNC
• programming, 3D model etc. etc.
• Execute timely reports.
• To practice use of QC tools for root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Ensure key performance indicators are met by working to the overall plan.
• Should be able to assess risks of manufacturing and use of tools.
• Should possess fair communication skills.
