Expression of Interest - Psychologists (Provisional or General Registered) or Social Workers

Opportunities available in Hobart and Launceston

Seeking Expressions of Interest (either full-time or part-time) from Psychologists with provisional/general registration and qualified social workers registered with AASW or eligible for registration with AASW across Australia. You will proivde therapeutic interventions to a wide variety of clinical presentations.

Our team of allied health professionals comprises Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Social Workers, Exercise Physiologists and Occupational Therapists. We are located across Australia and positioned to provide clinical health services for a wide range of customers and clients with a variety of disabilities. The opportunity

• Deliver clinical services through evidence based, individual and group interventions
• Provide a variety of services including assessments that identify individual strengths, skills, experience and vulnerabilities in employment
• Gain expertise by working with a multidisciplinary team of Allied Health Professionals

About you

• Tertiary qualification in your discipline: Psychologist OR Social Worker
• Provisionally registered Psychologists will be required to organise their own external supervisors to meet AHPRA registration requirements
• Registration / Membership with professional body is essential (i.e. AHPRA / AASW)
• Counselling experience is preferred
• Proven ability to motivate and genuinely engage with people
• Solution focused therapeutic approach which links to vocational goals
• Strong organisational skills
• Willing to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People check
