We are looking for a Software Developer to join the team that develops and implements the tools and tests in Python and C++, to analyze and calibrate optical transceiver chips and modules. These tools (GUI’s) and scripts will be used in our R&D environment to develop and validate our latest optical chip- and transceiver designs.
All data obtained through measurements will need to be structured, analyzed, and stored automatically on a data platform. For the Electro-Optical measurement setups, the development of GUIs and low-level interaction with lab equipment is required.
The Software Developer we are looking for is good at structured software development in python and C++, has an affinity with low-level hardware interaction, and understanding of the functional requirements for the Device-Under-Test (DUT).
In a fast-paced R&D team, all aspects of Software Development are covered. The development of the GUI, measurement implementation, data processing, automated analysis, and visualizations. These R&D setups play a key role in the development of EFFECT Photonics cutting-edge technology.
