In order to maintain our success, we would like to expand our mechatronic product development in the field of control development. In this position, you will contribute to the development and creation of the PLC software landscape for our product range of storage/retrieval and conveyor systems. You will be responsible for the product quality of the software contributing to the enhancement of our products.
Development and programming of controls software for our storage and material handling systems including the solution of problems, creation of concepts and detailed specification
Commissioning and testing of prototype software in test systems and on site at our customers' installations
Continuous product improvements and maintenance
Realisation of product and user trainings
On-site and remote support commissioning
Diligent product and process documentation
Completed Higher Technical College education with focus on automation technology, mechatronics or IT and several years of relevant job experience in the field of controls/automation technology OR university degree (or completed degree at university of applied sciences) in one of the aforementioned fields, job experience of advantage
Profound knowledge of control/drive technology as well as of the Siemens TIA Portal and the Simatic Manager
Excellent knowledge of SCL, IL, , LAD, FBD
High-level languages, e.g. C++ or C#.net are of advantage
Good command of written and spoken English
Independent, analytical, detailed and creative way of working as well as ability to work in a team and solution-oriented personality
The minimum annual gross pay for this position is 39,237 Euros according to the collective agreement. A possible overpay depends on your individual job experience and qualification.
