Software Engineering Intern

Position Summary

1. Support multiple project activities assuring the best use of agile practices and processes (Scrum and Kanban).
2. Participate in daily meetings of different projects identifying and reporting improvement points.
3. Participate in meetings of story points and product backlog estimation.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Support multiple project activities assuring the best use of agile practices and processes (Scrum and Kanban).
• Participate in daily meetings of different projects identifying and reporting improvement points.
• Participate in meetings of story points and product backlog estimation.
• Collaborate with setup and execution of Static Analysis, Open Source, Unit Test, and Automation Server tools.
• Maintain project documentation and policies, such as Configuration Management Plan, Release Plan, and Baseline Report.
• Participate in Service Delivery Review meetings.

Main requirements:

• Knowledge of C/C++ and/or Java languages.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of mobile operating systems, such as Android OS.
• Interest in Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum and Kanban).

Education degree:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related area.
• Expected graduation date between December 2021 and December 2022.

Language requirements:

• Advanced oral and written English.

Skills and Qualifications

Optional requirements:

• Experience in methodologies and frameworks from agile culture.
• Practical experience with source code versioning tools (ex: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Practical experience with Jira and Confluence tools.
• Knowledge of how to estimate the effort required to implement user stories using agile practices and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Tizen OS and related tools, e.g., Git Build System (GBS).
• Experience in development of applications using Android Studio.
