As part of our ongoing expansion, we're looking for a Manager Software Engineer who is as passionate about technical leadership as they are about people leadership, someone who enjoys creating and delivering successful software platforms while growing people to perform at their best.

You will be responsible for building the delivery capability of the team using modern development practices and driving a culture of improvement.

As Manager, Software Engineering you will manage a development team building commercial Java-based, distributed, highly available applications, where system performance is critical.
• Take a product initiative from requirements to production
• Lead and guide an agile team of developers and testers to deliver software that meets business objectives
• Facilitate the agile ceremonies to enable agile delivery of software at a predictable pace
• Collaborate with the Product Owners, Product Managers, and other stakeholders
• Drive your team’s capability and performance through coaching, mentoring, performance feedback and career development
• Contribute to the knowledge of the software development group

All About You
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with managing a development team in a multi-team environment, and experience with remote management
• Experience with applying Scrum or SAFe in a product development environment where high levels of performance, reliability and security are essential
• Experience with managing a vendor team
• Great communicator with proven experience in collaborating with business stakeholders
• Payments and fintech experience will be well regarded
