About the Role
In our “Diagnostics and Services” segment, we are developing pioneering diagnostics solutions for the automotive industry, fleet managers, workshops, dealers and other service providers.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can inspire for the future-oriented business field of vehicle diagnostics based at our Coventry site.
Overall project management of a complex software project in compliance to the Continental processes and guidelines.
Project planning and time-schedule definition in line with the customer requests and prioritization from product management.
Track the project progress and define corrective measures if deviating from the plan.
Plan and control the usage of the released project budget and project resources per approved project plan.
Report the project status in accordance with the valid tool and process set.
Perform professional change management.
Perform risk assessment, control and steer the implementation of risk measures.
Escalate issues if necessary.
Actively manage stakeholder expectations.
Build up and maintain a supportive culture of cooperation and teamwork with the project.
High and strong interface with the development and validation team.
Job Requirements
Professional Experience
University degree in Engineering or comparable professional qualification.
Experience as a Project Manager involving leadership ideally within the automotive sector.
Knowledge of relevant project management processes.
Proficiency with standard Microsoft office tools.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Knowledge of vehicle architecture and vehicle diagnosis.
Experience with “Agile” software methodologies.
Experience with software related projects.
