We are looking for highly motivated Principal Security Solutions Architect to define and articulate a compelling cloud and security vision, set it in motion, and inspire key stakeholders to see it to fruition. As a Senior Advisor to C-Level executives, you’ll drive significant change at scale. You will help accelerate our growing Government, Health, Education, and Non-Profit business as part of the Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) team. Key job responsibilities Principal Security Solution Architects have 4 main responsibilities: 1. Be a Customer Advisor. In partnership with the account team, formulate and execute a strategy to enable customer success. Help customers adopt AWS services and make the best use of them, driving revenue as a result. Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and security, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. Build trust with C-level within customers to influence their cloud adoption and security journeys. 2. Be a Thought Leader. Transfer knowledge to customers. Capture and share best-practice knowledge among AWS solutions architect community. Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, posts or video blogs. Deliver workshops, user groups, public speaking, online videos, and conferences. 3. Be in Continuous Professionalism Growth. Be curious, keep learning. Demonstrate your learning achievements taking AWS Certifications. Work with others so you deliver more. Work with others to help them deliver more. Participate in meet ups and conferences. 4. Advance Organizational Capabilities. Act as a technical liaison between customers and the service engineering teams to improve AWS services and capabilities. Bring your ideas for innovation.
