Solutions Engineer
As a Solutions Engineer within the IT organization, you will help in product design and drive CRM solutions from ideation through development and delivery
The Europe and Asia Client Group (EACG) Technology team manages in-house and vendor products. As a Salesforce Solutions Engineer, you will be working closely with business analysts & other internal teams like Distribution, Insights & Analytics to understand requirements and recommend solutions. Based in our Singapore office, you will have frequent interactions with Sales and Marketing teams. You will be responsible for CRM solutions for Europe and Asia client groups.
What you’ll be doing:
Building relationships within your team across Europe and Asia and managing expectations of various business partners
Actively engaging with stakeholders to develop detailed understanding of their requirements.
Providing technical recommendations on your projects and incorporating best practice.
Advise on best practices, offer solutions, and drive CRM strategy for Europe and Asia.
Develop custom solutions and interfaces on top of the Salesforce platform
Making insightful contributions to your team.
Your background and who you are:
You have a strong development experience on Salesforce platform.
Comfortable with multi-tasking and working as part of a global team, as well as working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
You can successfully work independently and with teams based on needs
You're passionate about data and keep abreast with latest CRM technologies and are learning regularly.
You approach projects, tasks, and unknowns with curiosity, and enjoy sharing what you know and what you learn with the people around you.
You are a self-starter, keen to proactively learn and apply what you have learnt.
You believe that a team is strongest when it is diverse and includes multiple perspectives.
You can put yourself into your customer’s shoes. You frequently immerse yourself in the customer experience to understand how you can better serve them.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science (preferred) or an equivalent work experience.
Minimum 6+ years of experience of Salesforce Platform in Development & Maintenance including but not limited to –
Experience in Salesforce customizations using Visualforce, Pages, Apex Classes, Triggers
Experience in Integration via Salesforce API/Web-services with other systems
Lightning components, lightning experience
Preferred
Knowledge and experience of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Experience in custom interfaces and working collaboratively with business teams
