Manufacturing Industry Cloud Solutions Lead

As part of JAPAC strategy and business development team, in this exciting role, you will develop a programmatic plan to promote Oracle Cloud solutions to Manufacturing Companies in APAC.

You will play the role of an Industry Leader, to mentor and set the solution direction for sales, marketing, partners and other supporting teams.

What will you do?

  • Develop and execute Cloud Technology solutions specific Go to Market programs for the Manufacturing industry segment.
  • Create industry-specific Cloud sales kits, customer messaging and sales enablement in APAC.
  • Engage with key accounts to determine/create business needs, identify and develop opportunities, develop solutions.
  • Maintain relationships with key associations and promote Oracle’s solution value proposition
  • Mentor and coach sales/presales teams to improve industry knowledge and solution selling skills.
  • Promote industry-focused business and technology practices, create and deliver live Cloud workshops
  • Develop messaging to position Oracle cloud solutions in the manufacturing industry context
  • Develop the technical solutions leveraging Oracle Cloud technology and articulate business value delivered.

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent public speaking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to meet with and present to C-suite executives.
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills to work in a matrix environment across multiple teams.
  • Ability and intent to learn new solutions quickly and build messaging of its relevance in the manufacturing industry context
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud computing technologies and applications to business problems of Manufacturing companies
  • 10+ years of experience designing and implementing information solutions in Manufacturing companies. Job experience as an Enterprise Architect, Business Development Executive, or Technology Solution Advisor is a strong advantage.
  • Good understanding of the business processes within the Manufacturing industry segment - Industry 4.0 trends, business drivers, and challenges across business value chains.
  • Good understanding of a typical IT infrastructure in Manufacturing companies, the spectrum of solutions in use.
  • Good experience in developing sales and marketing assets
  • Ability to travel regionally on business needs.
  • IT BS degree or equivalent.

Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.
Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.
