The Group IT within Intersnack is responsible for coverage of IT business needs across all Management Units. The Group IT is based in Intersnack Head Office Düsseldorf and incorporates and manages several external IT providers to assure the best service to the end-user’s group wide. For this reason, Intersnack Group IT started an IT-harmonization project called “InGrIT” which will connect and harmonise the whole Cloud-based IT application landscape for all Management Units. The overall objective is to deliver easy and user-friendly IT services to ensure operational continuity and efficiency in the core business of snack production.


Purpose of Role

The Solution Owner – Order to Cash (m/f/d) leads and secures optimal utilisation of application and supports the business development of IT-related business needs. Furthermore, you will contribute to help identify the strategic direction, determine business needs and design & deliver technical solutions.

This position will be involved in the implementation and ongoing daily support of sales business applications. The role calls for strong partner skills, as the job will have global responsibilities and drive different activities together with the responsible functional departments and the IT organisation


Main Responsibilities

  • Accountable for all aspects of solution delivery for the assigned solutions according to established ways of working (Business Development, Life Cycle Management and the Operation (run) of the Solutions, Business Continuity, Business Support).
  • Working with globally distributed, cross-functional teams or workstreams on Infor CloudSuite projects through discovery, design, build, test, and deployment activities
  • Responsible for documenting business requirements, system design and transformational goals with the ability to turn business requirements into implementable solution concepts and document them
  • Consulting with functional departments to identify necessary definition or changes to systems, user interaction and user capability.
  • Develop further competence and training needs for applications to ensure a comprehensive understanding of complex application contents
  • Manage critical stakeholders like superuser and supplier while maintaining network and governance
  • Identify and Support User Needs
  • Manage the delivery of support services by Intersnack’s third-party supplier for the Infor Solution stack, ensuring service levels targets are achieved
  • Perform Application Management tasks for the Infor Solution stack


Requirements for the position

  • At least 7+ years of experience with Sales / O2C Solutions and minimum 3+ years of relevant Business Application delivery, ideally in the food industry or FMCG (Fast-Moving Customer Goods), or industry experience in significant IT change projects and/or process management
  • Experience in working with the business and IT, building strategies and roadmaps
  • Define, implement and control system related processes
  • 3+ Year experience with the management of outsourced IT Applications service providers
  • Good understanding of cloud solutions and implementation projects as well as of IT architecture requirements
  • A strategic streak - you act in a future-orientated way and enjoy spotting potential synergies with other areas of the business
  • Experience of working with strategic roadmaps is an advantage, the ability to understand the big picture and to get into the details when required
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Fluent business English (written/spoken) is mandatory, and German is an advantage
  • Willingness and possibility to travel
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
