Cloud Solution Architect - Banking

Developments in the field of IT continue to accelerate. Digital transformation and thereby the migration and delivery of services in the Cloud is an important theme that our customers are increasingly working on in order to maintain or further strengthen their position in the market. Do you want to contribute to this shift as a Cloud Solution Architect?
Your day-to-day activities
As a Cloud Solution Architect you are part of a passionate club of professionals. You are responsible for (part of) the design of one or more systems. This role requires communication and interaction with multiple teams. You are the ultimate discussion partner for our customers at different levels and you are also able to share your knowledge and current developments in your field with your CGI colleagues.
Things you need to be successful
As a Cloud Solution Architect you are highly analytical, a team player and customer-oriented. You have a strong focus on Cloud technological developments in the market and you build and maintain relationships with our customers and partners. You know the content well and you can also make a substantive contribution to projects when setting up Cloud platforms. On one hand, you work with your fellow solution architects on a Cloud vision and architecture. And on the other hand, you work together with multidisciplinary, often international, DevOps teams on the development of that vision and architecture. You have excellent communication and social skills and you can convey your vision with flair and enthusiasm. You are versatile and willing to take that extra step that is sometimes necessary. You are proactive and know how to easily win others over to your ideas.
You also have:
• At least 3 years of demonstrable experience as a Solution Architect in application    development;
• A completed HBO or WO education with a strong ICT component;
• Excellent communication and social skills and a good command of both the Dutch and    English language;
• Experience with Agile methods and principles such as DevOps, Scrum, SAFe, Continuous    Integration and Continuous Development and associated tooling (eg.    Azure DevOps);
• Certified in and hands-on experience with at least one core Cloud technology, such as    Microsoft Azure and / or Amazon AWS;
• Experience with data migration from on-premise to Cloud platforms;
• Knowledge of and experience with security aspects around Cloud platforms;
• Knowledge and experience in the financial sector is desirable;
• Residence in the Netherlands.
