Solution Architect – Strategic Accounts - Switzerland

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to work closely with sales representatives on strategic accounts
across Switzerland. The Solution Architect´s main mission is to present the Fortinet portfolio to customers on different
levels (Admin, Management, C-Level).

• Pre-sales - assist the team as overlay resource across all major accounts in Switzerland
• Design - provide high-level design blueprints to customers
• Translate – building the bridge between business needs and technical requirements
• Advice - acting as trusted advisor at major accounts and maintain the technical relationship with the
customer. Discover opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Fortinet solutions into the customer account
• Present – speaking at different technology and non-technology-focused meetings to convince the audience
of Fortinet leadership in the network security market
• travel to the different locations of the accounts within Switzerland

Required Skills:
• 5 – 8 years of experience in technical pre-sales as a sales/system engineer or security architect
preferable at a security vendor
• strong knowledge in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
• Knowledge of the following technologies: Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion
Detection and Prevention, Web filtering, AntiVirus and Threat Emulation.
• Strong understanding of state-of-the-art security techniques and processes
• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required
• Ability to help build a customer focused business case.
• Strong presentation skills
• Willingness to travel 2-3 days in average per week

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. Graduate degree preferred
