Presales Solution Architect - UC and Voice

We are seeking a Unified Communications Pre-Sales Solution Architect to provide technical expertise to our sales teams. UC Pre-Sales is responsible for the design and sales support of blueAPACHE’s emPOWER Voice and Unified Communications solution portfolio. Our solutions require an understanding of UC desktop and mobile applications, Unified Messaging, Collaboration, Contact Centre Solutions, SIP clients, premise and carrier network architectures, WLAN, and data centre technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise
  • Provide the Sales team with end-to-end UC technical solution support services from lead qualification, solution design through hand-off of a signed SOW to the Delivery team
  • Work with the Sales Team developing campaigns and sales plans
  • Providing technical and functional direction and input during the sales cycle
  • Drive key customer meetings and workshops to achieve the outcomes within the deadlines
  • Assisting with RFP responses, development of Scope of Works, Work Breakdown Structure and other related documents
  • Prepare and perform product demonstrations to business and technical audiences
  • Assist in developing project delivery plans
  • Keep relevant technical/market knowledge up to date
  • Maintain industry-leading technical and pre-sales/sales engineering certifications.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strong technical skills with a demonstrated ability to uncover business issues, effectively design and articulate the value proposed solutions. Must be able to communicate effectively to a wide range of business decision makers from C-level to technology specialists and provide unparalleled customer service in a fast-paced, vibrant team environment.

  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Experience with Microsoft TEAMS essential
  • Experience with other VoIP solutions and technologies a plus (e.g. IPFX, Avaya, Genesys)
  • Strong knowledge of VoIP solutions, standards and protocols required
  • Strong knowledge of contact center functionality
  • Strong knowledge of Voice Carriage termination
  • Experience creating strong business cases supported by compelling value propositions
  • Experience gathering business requirements
  • Proven capability solutioning, estimating and implementing in mid to large complex solutions
